i am new to running a web site. I have started website where people can submit reviews on their employers.

unfortunately i didnt make my domain name registration private, and one of the company h.r got hold of my cell number. His company has been very badly reviewd by vistors on my site.

He has asked me to do something abt it, else he said he can file a suit against me.

On signup page i do have privacy policy & Terms and condition. (which says website is not responsible for comments made by vistors.)

can any one throw light on what possiblities i have ....

Hiding behind legal terms is a typically American way out...the Internet way is to roll up your sleeves and bash the hell out of them!

Of course this is not a serious response my friend...

...you must think about your actions before acting...there seems to be moire to this case than meets the eye!

Sorry to sound like a fortune cookie but...be carefull!

definately talk to a lawyer (preferably more than one). review sites are bound to speak badly about someone. ripoffreport is a similar site where even the publisher cannot alter or delete postings however false they may be.

seems like you should be able to put a disclaimer somewhere you can use to seperate yourself. also i suggest changing your registration information.
