Just trying to set up a couple of pages for 2 non-profit sites that give info on a few towns.

Quite a few of the daily emails are asking about which restaurant or bar is good in the town and we also receive emails from people suggesting a particular restaurant or bar.

So, was just wondering the best way to handle this? Is it a good idea to have a page that just lists the restaurants and bars?

How have others here handled this please? Any good examples online?

Any help much appreciated.

It would seem that a listing system with the ability for visitors to comment would be a good way to go. But it will of course create moderation issues, even with registrations.

Many thanks Kufu - it's appreciated.

Just wondering if that could be a good idea or perhaps to have a form completion with a set format for the bars address, name, contact details etc.

Any ideas and/or online examples much appreciated.

Almost every large product review site, or shopping site will have something similar. It may be a bit difficult if you want to code it from scratch but, I'm sure if you do some searching you can find a premade script for free or little money. As a last resort you can use a blog software with commenting abilities to set up something simple.
