I already have a fairly busy entertainment and world news site.
Today I picked up a large, high quality Indian news wire service. Covers regional news, arts, features and international news.
Now I was trying to work out whether to use this on our current site to fill in reporting gaps (say Bollywood in movies or special on Kashmir in world news) and cover some regional niche areas or to launch a new site and so use all the content...but starting from scratch.
Costing wise I only need about 10K users per day to breakeven on it. So I would guess it would be pretty easy to get to that number by promoting it on our current site.
But what is the audience like for this sort of news. Anyone have any idea how many expats their are in USA/UK/CAN? I ask since I assume advertising to people browing from the country itslef would not be worth too much.
