Direct links to products - any issues?

Hi,

Im thinking about putting a website together that allows the user to view products comparatively for a particular market. In a similar way to sites like kelkoo and pricerunner. But this is for a specific market which is not very well covered by current websites.

So im just wondering what are the copyright issues with putting links on your site to other websites products. Im guessing in most cases they would be happy to have there products advertised. But what about in a situation where you had product reviews. If they didnt like the reviews there product was getting, have they every right to ask you to remove the product link from your site. Also what about using the products image and a short description from the products website?

From the number of products on sites like Kelkoo, im guessing they dont go asking everyone concerned whether they are happy for them to use there product information.
