Yahoo image API

Is that totally illegal?

Hey there,

I was looking at the yahoo image APi as a cool way to add an image search to my site.

But then I realized that all those images that were spit out of the API were actually hotlinked from sites all over the net!

How can one possibily use that material legally?

Am I missing somehing here?
