direct copy of original content on someone elses site!

Recently, I found a website that had coppied content from a friend of mines' site. The site that stole it references my friends' site at the bottom of the coppied content. Can they do that legally? There is no contact information on the site to ask them to remove this copyrighted content. He is going to file a copy right infringement notice with Google but what can he do in the mean time? We are still new to this and would appreciate some advice. Thanks

Figure out who's hosting the plagiariser, and contact them directly.

click "library" in the content forum above, you'll find that this happens to everyone, and you'll see some good ideas at fighting it.
