Bulletted lists -what is the standard format?

How should bulletted lists look?

Should the last two items on a bulletted list be connected by 'and', 'or' etc. like this:
  • Carrots
  • Leeks and
  • Onions

Should these items be written in bold?

Should they be capitalized?

Should the be preceded by a semi colon?

Or is all a matter of personal style? Maybe it's more a matter of using grammar correctly or not (I am not even sure I have spelled 'bulletted' correctly...)?

I would generally assume it is the same as a bulleted list or reference list when typed or done in a word processor - for which the standard I am aware of is that you dont use , or and/or in it.

An "or" entry would be done on one line (red onions or green onions) would be my guess...
