Protection of video/cartoon animation

Is it possible to stop video being taken from a website?

We want to put some cartoon animation on our website but, because of the time/cost investment in developing it, prevent it from being 'stolen'. I am looking for methods of stopping it from being run, except when called from our webpage.

I've already been told that if I were able to access the .fla file (flash source code format) then there is a syntax that can restrict the flash to a particular domain. However, our cartoon software outputs the runtime .swf, not .fla. There are other output formats available (eg AVI, DVstream, QuickTime).

Is anyone aware of any method of protecting our runtime code, restricting it to running when called from one particular domain or page?

Anyone can pull a flash file or any other straight out of their "temp internet files" in doze ..

realplayer can make it harder ..but basically if they can see it they can steal it if they know how ..

Use the streaming effect of flash video.?You need to convert your animation and then stream it.Streaming cannot be stolen by average webmasters.
