Hello,

Has anyone used this method to increase content on their website. I am thinking of putting an online dictionary of terms but I want to know what is the best method of delivery to use that will assist in increasing the level of a.) content on your website to improve SEO Rank and b.) improve the keyword density of the website it self.

I need some serious help as my webdesigners are stumped...?

Yes. I publish an online encyclopaedia, which includes a dictionary of abbreviations which I guess is very similar to that which you are describing?

The main hurdle I found was page lengths. Pages can easily get too long, so break them up and also link the terms through to your glossary and back again.

A bit of the old "nothing for nothing"

Yes Matt this is exactly what I am talking about, What I have done is to try and not let the definitions be too long, between 40 to 60 words.

But has this helped with your SE Ranking for your targeted kewyords (if you have any) and did you use anything such as content manager etc.

My dictionary is topic specific, say widget dictionary...blue widgets, green widgets, etc are defined. Are these definitions all separate pages on your site?

I have about 3,000 terms so I do plan to inclde the keyword 'widget' in all definitions, it has been fairly easy to do.

But my real problem is how does it affect Ranking does the spider view each definition as a page of your site?

And what content manager do you use?
