How's the performance?

Sometime back there apparently many were waiting for ArticleLive's PHP version to be out. Has anyone tried it yet? Is it scalable? Can it handle a really large number of pages, like say running into tens of thousands or more?

I think its pretty good - uncluttered, easy to use and seems to handle as much as I can throw at it.

Hmm, for perl, Article Manager by Interactivetools seems more polished. If you're looking for a PHP article manager then evoArticles by Evo-Dev is better in my opinion.

i used article live for a one of my sites that has over 80k articles... works great.. se friendly too..

i checked out the interactive tools article manager and it uses flatfiles to store articles instead of Mysql ... so this was a big no no for me... for a small site it would be fine but article live is the best for large sites.. also very easy to modify

MySQL vs flat files to store content? i would go with mysql any day :)
