PDF eBook and DRM .exe wraper

Does an .exe wrapper work on a Mac?

Think i've found a good DRM package for my new eBook (in PDF format). But it has a couple of potential problems. For example, the downloaded PDF is wrapped by the DRM in an .exe file format. Besides scaring away some prospects, will this .exe format keep Mac users from downloading.

I know almost nothing about Macs and don't know if Mac OSs can relate to .exe files.

Thanks!
Was not getting much response here, so i asked again over on the WebMaster World Mac Webmaster forum:
[webmasterworld.com...]

Several good suggestions, including wrapping the .exe file in a Stuffit .sit file for Mac consumption. Which leads me to the idea of separate Windows and Mac versions, the Mac one wrapped in Stuffit and the Windows one wrapped in ZIP.

Some Mac folk think the .exe might work - i'll need to test it on a friend's Mac.

I'll continue over there, rather than here.
