is this spam as per Google

Hi!

Whenever I post a summary about my site across Vertical Directories, I copy-paste one standard para that tells all about my site. And this one para is now found on at least 20 directories across the web.

If google robot were to crawl these directories and find exactly same content with links pointing to my site, will my site be penalized for this?
