my question is...if a customer returns to you to place another order or inquire further infomration then shall he be treated differently in a personlaized manner.
do we still need to tell him about our business ans other details?

bcz i think if a customer returns to us then he would like to be given a feeling that he is not new to us...or not..? just a thought to value our returning customers.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, wajeeha. I guess it depends on the site. Amazon targets the content they deliver to each visitor based on their knowledge of that visitor. If they recognize a returning customer (by cookie or login), they will typically provide content which they believe is relevant based on past purchasing or browsing habits.
