best PHP based CMS

including a good forum

i'm looking to host a new website using a CMS with php/mysql.
i also need an integrated forum with good features
any suggestions?

After months of researching these issues I'll share my discovery: There is no answer.

CMS? Moveable Type, WordPress, Mambo, Etc.

Forums? PHPBB.

If you drill down into the threads here and in the Forum and Community Building threads you will see lots of discussion on these issues. You will also find a link to a website that reviews and compares the various CMS.
