My site was copied!

My entire site was copied into 1bu.net

I went to ask.com and searched for my domain name.

My entire website was copied into a subdomain in 1bu.net

They have the nerve to take my articles that took years of research and host them in my site. Now a search for my domain brings visitors to their site.

HELP!

1bu.net is Chinese, looks like PRC (mainland) China.

They might be a little hazy on the topic of copyright etc., or just playing dumb.

What little I could make out indicates they republish many sites, probably without asking.

I would get all my ducks in a row, immediately, facts and exact URLs etc.
Then, (and with better advice than I can give) I would consider writing to
abuse@google.com, abuse@yahoo.com, even abuse@1bu.com.

I wouldn't delay or let the matter rest as is.
YOUR site could be penalized for duplicate content instead of theirs!

Hi SteveB: I see what you mean.

Can anyone explain how this works, and what is the purpose of all this? - Larry

easy. They get the search engine traffic for the content we write, while our sites get banned. They profiteer from our work.

I kinda figured it would be something like that, but .. Won't they get hit for duplicate content?
I don't see .1bu.com pages (ripped or otherwise) showing up in any serps I check. - Larry
