hello,

any ideas on how to contact content providers? i got a few nice domains and need special niche content for them. I know a niche offline magazine which is just perfect, would it be a good idea to ask them if they want to provide online content for the domains and later share revenue if the site grows, something like a portal? When you have a good idea and a good domain for a niche portal/directory but not the money to develope, how would you contact possible partners? Do you have any experiences?

thx in advance

Do you have any perssonal interest in the subject, or do you just see it as a money making opportunity?

If it is a subject that you actually care about, you can almost always get free/cheap content, or at least ideas for content from the online communities that build up around the subject.

If you aren't really interested, then that will come across when you try and deal with the people, and your only real solution is to pay someone.
