Can anyone please recommend me a good Social Network building script,something similar to Myspace?
I have found a few none of them seems to be widely used and producing companies unknown

Good question, wmuser. Anyone have a clue? I've seen something called a "MySpace hack for vBulletin", but it involved installing a whole pile of other hacks and looked kind of Rube Goldberg-ish.

There is a script called PHPizabi, which is supposed to have very similar functionality to myspace.

However, the current release still has some files encrypted... the newest release 'Alicia' is supposed to be 100% open source, but no-one seems to have any idea when it's actually going to be released.

I have heard about PHPizabi but a lot of webmasters has reported that it has a lot of bugs and also the fact that the source is closed

I think there will be demand for a script like this if a reasonably functional one is released.

You might check out dzoic and boonex, both of which seem to have at least partial solutions. I don't have first-hand knowledge of either, though.

for a NET 2.0 solution - Community server 2.0 seems to be pretty robust
