What am I responsible for?

I'm working on a forum now, but I wonder what my responsibilities are. I suspect that my members meight talk about downloading copyright-material. I will try to delete everything I see about this, but what if I miss anything or I am in vacation for a week and cand moderate theese thing. Am I responsible for what my members are writing?

When you go on holiday definitely you hand over charge to other person, the person who take your charge might be responsible for that.

If you establish a good ethic in the forum and have a good group of mods, you should be able to leave and expect that nothing bad will happen. At least nothing the mods can't fix. :)
