Ex vBulletin developers launching new Forum Software

Two ex-vbulletin devs (Kier Darby and Mike Sullivan) are launching a new forum software called Xenforo

Looks pretty neat. If I hadn't invested so much time and money into my current vB set up, I may consider switching...

There are some new ideas in the software and it does seem to hang together well. Kier and Mike were well respected in vBulletin circles, so it should be interesting to see how the new software turns out.

They say it will be priced about the same as vBulletin and IPB. I would think they would need some compelling differences to attract more than a few customers.
