Autorebooting cobalt raq550 server on system halt

Can that be done with software?

I've got a server that hangs a lot, i can only get it online is by asking the hosting provider to press the power button.
Sometimes it can take 3 days for them to power it on again.

So my question is:

is there software that i can install that will reboot this server on halt?
Is it possible to change the halt function and make it a reboot function?

The obvious answer is to find out what's causing the server to hang - that's not good.

But, get a hardware network power controller. Try APC product number AP7901. Best $500 you'll ever spend - trust me.

Are individual product mentions like this against TOS? Slap me if so.
