I just installed Complete MySQL from Server Logistics.
v4.0.15

I got it running, but when I try to do anything else I get the error below.

Ive been hours now in the manual (850+ pages) and to no avail. As the admin shouldnt I be able to get in?

ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'myadminname@localhost' (Using password: YES)

This may be a stupid question, but at the beginning of the instilation guide, it asks or rather suggests to "add the directory "/Library/MySQL/bin" to your $Path environment variable for your shell. If you do not do so, you will not be able to just type "mysql" to access the "mysql" command in the MySQL binary directory.

It tells me to create a .tcshrc within my home folder

I tried this, and silly or stupid as this may sound, what home folder are they talking about? And, furthermore BBEdit wont let me "save" a file named ".tcshrc"

A little help would be nice so I can continue to the next phase of pulling my hair out

Thanks,

What OS are you running it on? I've never used the server logistics distro, but you usually have to run mysqladmin to change the root password. Did you do that?
