mod_jk problem

Hello,

...this is my first post.

I have installed a server with:
Tomcat 4.1.29
Apache 2.0.48
Mod_jk-1.2.5
j2sdk-1_3_1-linux-i386.bin

The server is great when the traffic is maximum,
40 transactions to the minute, but when the server have
low charge and low traffic... ...CRASH!
I must restart all.

In the error_log of apache I have this message:
mod_jk: Error flushing

What is this?
Probably, this error cause the crash?

Someone can help me?
