Help with Mod_Rewrite

I'm trying to reorganize an online collection of music with a modrewrite

i want to turn this:
[domain.com...]

into this:
[1999.85197.8519.newdomain.com...]

so that when the first one is played, the audio comes from the second link. any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks
