hi, i've just moved hosts and my website now hasn't got an /icons/ directory! i thought every website did! i've tried to add the folder /icons/ to my website but it says i don't have permission to.

i guess i'm going to have to change the directory folder myself through fancy indexing but is there anywhere i can download an /icons/ folder complete with all the default icons as clicking each one and saving them on my friends site will take days!?

*was i wrong in thinking they came with every website?*

thanks, eb

Aren't those icons used to display the contents of directories where there is no index file?

Then where does it get the graphics from on your server if you have no icons directory? :)

If you download a copy of the Apache source code from the offical site, the file you get includes the icons directory and all icons therein...

That's the thing. It doesn't display any images at the moment. It just says the text next to the file names [DIR] [IMG] etc.

Where's this source code download?
