I am using a Westell Router provided by Bellsouth to connect to the internet with their DSL service. Connected to that is a Linksys 4 port Wireless G router. To that, I have a Windows XP Pro computer trying to use Apache 2.2.2 (newest version as of late). I can use Apache on the network and I can reach the test site from two computer, the host computer and another computer through Wireless. I have a No-IP account signed up but whenever I try to reach the Apache server from the outside using the No-IP domain name I use or the actual IP address that the Bellsouth router is giving me, it claims that it can not connect to it. I tried using Firefox and Internet Explorer. I mad sure that both the Westell and Linksys router have Port Forwarding for port 80 set but I still cant reach the server. I also tried activating the DMZ on both routers and it still cant reach the server. If I have the DMZ activated on the Westell, then the connection error changes and tells me that it timed out rather than could not connect, regardless of wether or not the DMZ is activated on the Linksys. I make sure everytime I try that my No-IP client is up-to-date also. Can someone please help me solve this problem. Any help will be very appreciated.
