Apache IIS?

Does Apache have an equivalent of the Windows IIS Search Engine?

Hi.

Bare with me, as I am new to servers. :)

I was told by someone that Windows servers have a bult in search engine called IIS, and that Apache may have an equivalent.

Is this right? And if so, are there any links anyone can provide to tell me how to use it? Or the name so I can google it?

Thank you.

IIS is the server software bundled with XP Pro. It is the Microsoft equivalent of Apache server. It is not a search engine.
