Increase SERVER_HARD_LIMIT

Help required on Apache Server

Hi Folks,

I have installed Oracle App server, with which I will get Oracle Web server also. This Web server is nothing but Apache Web server.

Problem that I have:

I want to increase ThreadsPerChild from 1000 to 5000. But what ever the value I set(> 1100), it is taking as 1024 only. I am not to increase these threads.

In the log it is saying that," Increase your SERVER_HARD_LIMIT first before increasing ThreadsPerChild" and rebuild.

I am using Windows 2000 OS and Apache server version of 1.3.

Please help me out how to increase this limit and where to get the source, how to compile etc...

Please help me as early as possible as Iam tottaly stuck with this..
