running php files in a directory besides htdocs

Hello,
I have just installed Apache 1.3.3 and PHP 4 on my computer. However, currently I have to put my php file in the Apache -> htdocs folder for the php file to run. I have another directory that contains a local copy of all of my htm and php files. I would like for this directory to be able to run .php files. For example [localhost...] Do i just make a change in my httpd.conf file and specify this directory?

Nevermind that question. Got it figured it. Just changed some directories in my httpd.conf file.

Can I include multiple directories that can run php files?
