htaccess Redirect Help

Hey guys,

I have some subdomains that I am trying to redirect to my main domain.com/nameOfSubdomain

Basically If someone goes to dog.domain.com/anypage.html
I want it to redirect to www.domain.com/dog/anypage.html

Can someone help me out with this? I really appreciate it!

This search [google.com] should get you going on mapping subdomain requests to subdirectories.
