This is a basic question I thought I would work out by now, but nothing seems to have worked. I cannot access my Apache server from a remote computer. Apache is running on port 85 which is not blocked by my ISP or firewall. I am able to access it from my laptop using the local address 127.0.0.1 85. I cannot access the server using my IP address at port 85.
The operating system is Windows Media Edition on a Toshiba satellite laptop. I am able to ping the IP and telnet shows a connection. Any suggestions on what I might try.
