I received the 'IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email. This is cPanel stats runner on...' & '....load average: 2.59, 1.51, 1.16...' email this morning. For some Top Level processes, I see upto 60.7 for CPU Usage.
After research i edited /var/cpanel/cpanel.config and set extracpus=2 (formerly 0).

From what I've read, it seems my server should have no problem with performance, it just is having problems accessing/writing to log files (my guess is b/c they are so large - i.e. taking up system memory while other sites running are requiring it, thus some sites would use the hard disk for ram purposes when the stats program is running (i may be wrong with this last notion))
Now, I dont neccessarily need to run a stats program (which i have read is the root cause of this), so i was wondering how to disable awstats globally on all account from WHM.?
Also, any advice on this in addition to 'how do i disable awstats globally from WHM cPanel?' would be appreciated - as always.
Thanks in advance!
The above helped me a lot, plus I disabled AWStats and Webalizer, since I don't use them anyway.
Hope that helps.
