I want to build web pages with Dreamweaver, it suggests using IIS. However on my laptop I only have xp home. On the PC I have w2000.
I tried to install IIS on xp home!, but could not find file IIS_infctrl.h. So looked on the web and it suggested I use apache.
After an easy install, it does not work.
[localhost...] gives page not found.
I have a belkin wireless router, wired to the modem, also wired to the modem I have my sons PC, MY LAPTOP IS WIRELESS..
The default installation suggested I use belkin as the domain. I changed this to something more meaningful.
Note I do not want other computers to see my server, it is for testing only.
In apached monitor, it confirms apaches is connected. and the logs look ok.
