I just checked for broken links on a site and it came up with multiple 301 links like this one:

I checked back on Archive.org and there never has been any pages on the site like this other than .html so I'm not sure where these came from.

Can anyone explain what this could be? There is no shopping cart on the site and the site only has about 10 pages, a blog and a mobile site set up.

UPDATE: I just checked the blog and all those numbers reflect pages in the blog. I have a 301 redirect set up for the website (separate from the blog) but now it's apparently redirecting the blog pages to the home page.

Here is the 301:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^(www\.example\.net)?$
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.net/$1 [R=301,L]

PS. I had posted a message a few weeks ago trying to fix the 301 so it would work but then the link from home page to blog wouldn't work. I figured this was a separate problem but maybe not.

Here is the htaccess contents for blog (it's in a folder called "blog" and then another called "wordpress".

# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /wordpress/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /wordpress/index.php [L]
# END WordPress

which redirects to something like what?

i assume this is in the document root directory.

it's in a folder called "blog" and then another called "wordpress".

most likely one of these is a symbolic link referring to the other, so there's actually one folder with two ways to refer to that folder.
