Configuring A Home Network

Hi all,

I have a small wireless network at home.
On the desktop, I'm running XP Pro and Apache Server. On the laptop, I'm running XP Tablet.

I use Apache to test PHP scripts, and want to configure the home network so that I can use a browser on the Tablet can access the web pages on the Pro machine.

This one has me stumped. I have no idea where to start. I've tried [servername...] which doesn't work.

How do I configure this?

if you are trying to access the apache server on the other machine try http://lan.ip.address/

this should throw up the Apache test page.

Use your DHCP number. It starts with 192.186.... You must have a different number for both computers.

You can find it in Internet Connections/Properties.

And it also helps if I let Sygate to Apache to be accessed from the Network.
