Deny Access to a website

www.baidu.com Abuse !

Hi:
I would like to 'Deny Access' to anyone coming to my home-based Apache 2.2.22 server via www.baidu.com

How do I do this please ?

(btw, I am having a continuous series of DoS attacks with the person on the other end of this who uses a wide variety of IP addresses when he/she uses this attack method. Currently, I 'Deny Access' to any IP addresses I note associatred with this 'baidu' attack -- but the attacker uses *many* different IP addresses, but *each* attack has 'http://www.baidu.com' in the access.log file)

maybe you could try something else. there's more than one way to block spammers.
there's a popular php script called "bad behaviour" that might help (and it's free too - just got to google it). it can log IP adresses into a database automatically too, if you set it up right.

there used to be a bot blocker script in the library somewhere at webmasterworld too but i cant find it. from memory, i think you could set it so anyone who requested pages too quickly would get automatically blocked.
anyone who grabbed one page every two seconds for ten seconds, for example, (or whatever you set it up as) would get automatically added to the banned list

those kind of scripts have an advantage in that they don't rely on you knowing the IP, or where they originally came from. because they block their behaviour

Hi Wilderness:

The set of 204.56.xxx.yyy IP addresses are from the icrossing.com ISP.

Since Dec 21st, I have been attacked from there with the following set of IP addresses:

204.56.96.115
204.56.109.105
204.56.96.118
204.56.96.114
204.56.96.117

All of these have been, of course, denied.

But, its still a pain-in-the-butt to watch this hopeless try his infantile attacks.
