Isn't there any internet sites out there that can generate Apache scripts for these most mundane tasks we discuss day after day?

If not, maybe someone should build one because it would sure be nice to just check a few boxes, feed in the data, and have a nice service crank out a script that works first time every time.

Anyone seen a site ever attempt to do this before?

Okay wilderness, I can no longer add that example that you gave me a few days ago. But I will add, I have not been long time in this complicated world of Apache Server.

Maybe that's why I'm excited by the output of Apache.

Apache HTTP Server 2.4.1 Released
[mail-archives.apache.org...]

Overview of new features in Apache HTTP Server 2.4
[httpd.apache.org...]

I'm crossing my fingers for the Web hosting company where I am, made this update as soon as possible. And also, I'm crossing my fingers because they add these new module;

mod_ratelimit

I can not wait to put my hands on;

Per-request configuration sections.
<If>, <ElseIf>, and <Else> sections can be used to set the configuration based on per-request criteria.

I let my hopes fade away on a magic formula to work with me and allow me to spend more time writing for my little blog.

Today the Internet has to fight every second to survive the deliberate attitude of some who think that what is on the Internet is available for use the way they want.

I realized that if I want to have a space here, I have to fight for it. And the best way to do it, is to know better the same tools used by those who disrespect the spirit of the Internet.

I know that you are not giving up, but I want to tell you that this version of Apache brings more power to who owns a website, is to deliver more ability to decide who, when and how someone can get some or all your content.

I think at some point with this step that brings Apache will result in some changes, which will invest the position of the order we know today.

Who has been making life miserable for us, more and more often will find that we have more tools to reject vandalism. They will come to the reality that is a waste of time. But the most dangerous will not go away.
