ServerAdmin Directive - two emails?

Just curious if the ServerAdmin Directive can point to two (or more) email addresses? This would be in a vhost file under sites-available.

The Apache documentation implies only one address can be specified.

I'm not aware that Apache does anything particular with this email address, other than include it in error messages when it prepends it with a mailto: link. However, the documentation does state that certain CGI scripts assume this is an email address (and perhaps just one?) - so that might be a problem?

However, if all it's doing is prepending mailto: on the link then perhaps a comma separated list of email addresses might work OK, since this works in a mailto: anchor. Apache assumes it's an email address if it's not a URL (according to the docs).

However, personally I would specify just one (special) email address for ServerAdmin and set up mail forwards as required for additional email addresses. This would be the most reliable and user friendly way IMO.

Thanks

That is what I thought but the documentation didn't mention it. If allowed, it could either be a comma, or it could be two iterations of the directive, each with a separate email address.

Not a big issue, but I'm trying to clean up the vhost file before I tackle important issues. I changed it from webmaster@localhost to our admin address.
