I do know the ip and nameserver, and I do know that you can enter using ip and account name, but I dont remember how it is normally,
And I dont want to ask host as sort of we been arguing.....

Thanks,

http :// 123.456.789.012 (without the spaces)

Should prompt your for a login.

You should still be able to access your data through the old-hosts login.

thanks but it did not work, it took me to:
cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

If I dont remember bad on that host before the DNS propagate I think I entered using a long link with the nameserver and not the ip.
However it have changed owner since then.

Just login with your username and password at the hosts main page and select your account.

That part is OK. It is just your browser being annoying. There was a recent thread about Firefox...

Does your domain definitely have a fixed IP? Sometimes they don't if you are on shared hosting.

I got the idea when I went to bed, remembered my new host gave me an ip/~accountname/ that is redirected to myserver something. So just used that adress and changed newserver.host to nameserver and I managed to enter.
From client area there is no way to enter cpanel.
So my old direction is [nameofserver.nameserver.com:2083...]
wow, thanks all

I am very curious as my previous host blocked blacklisted ips from access website and when he swithced it off for 1 or 2 days I got spam filling in the form and now I changed host and dont get that kind of spam and they say they dont block blacklisted ips,...so I would like to access my form on previous host to test to send an email to see if the spam was due of host or not.

Anyway I managed to enter cpanel, however donīt managed to enter my website, there is still some entering so I cant delete it yet.
To enter cpanel I enter like this;
[servername.hostname.com:2083...]

so how could I change that using my username?
Thanks in advance
