Hi, I am glad I found this forum - it's a keeper.

I am currently using a www.domain SSL certificate, but would like to change to a *.domain wildcard certificate. I already own the wildcard cert and am currently using it on other sites.

How do I change? I know how to edit the httpd.conf, but I don't know how to proceed without screwing up the other sites that are already using the wildcard cert. Thoughts?

I'm not certain, but I think you should be able to replace the old certificate file for the domain with the new one, then restart apache. that's what I'd try first(keeping a copy of the current cert file of course, just in case I'm wrong).

Thanks for your reply. I did try that. In the apache log I get the error:

SSL Library Error: 185073780 error:0B080074:x509 certificate routines:X509_check_private_key:key values mismatch
