Hi, is there a way of allowing ONE COUNTRY ONLY onto my signup page. I want all countries to access my homepage but be blocked from signing up.

I have .htaccess, .tpl files, php files and smarty templates.

I haven't found anything that works.

Thanks :)

Certainly, and if that sighup page is contained in its own directory, which includes its own htaccess.

Blacklisting
The difficulty and contuned updating is dependent upon which country you choose to allow and which countries you choose to deny.

white-listing
deny all, then only allow the IP ranges you wish.

Doubt you'll locate a copy and paste solution.

Here's some old threads, some of which are merely intended to supply basic principles:

Somewhere hereabouts-- maybe even in one of the four threads linked above-- there's a link to

[countryipblocks.net...]

It's dated pretty exactly 2 years ago so it won't be entirely up-to-date, especially w/r/t 6-piece addresses,* but it's a start.

* This is not the correct technical term. Sorry.
