segregate folder.domain.com and domain.com/folder

Hello everyone,

I have a subdomain named "folder" (folder.domain.com). Thus, the system created a folder in my server, of course, named "folder", where I can manage my files.

Now, unfortunately, I forgot that I already have a page and url www.domain.com/folder (no trailing slash). www.domain.com/folder is virtual because it is just a redirect from a non-search-engine-friendly url.

Therefore folder.domain.com and www.domain.com/folder are two different pages. It works well for more than 3 years in my previous host, but when I transferred to the new host, it does not work anymore - if I entered domain.com/folder, the page that is being shown is that of folder.domain.com

Can I still segregate the two - just like before? Hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.

What is the server filepath and filename that should be used to serve content for the old domain.com/folder page?

Hi Jim,

Sorry for the very very late reply to your clarification. I just figured out that I can just change the folder name where the subdomain files/codes are located, through the cpanel tool.

Thanks for reponse, anyway.
