Time Wait

How many time_waits should I expect to see when I do a netstat on a webserver? Just a regular old webserver, nothing special.

I'm doing a netstat and seeing probably a thousand or so connections that say Time_Wait. That seems high to me.

Seems a bit high, any indication as to what they're waiting on?
