Is it Dreamweaver CS3 or Apache causing the error?

I'm currently working on one site within Dreamweaver and therefore when I test the site localhost pops up and all is right with the world. However, when I create a new site in Dreamweaver and press F12 to preview it the Apache server opens the first site I created :(

Is this error caused by something I've not done in Dreamweaver or is it down to virtual hosts in the Apache conf file?

We'll need way, way more information to answer this question, I think.

Having used Dreamweaver 5 or so years ago, I recall that F12 is supposed to display the page you created as it would appear in a browser. My recollection is that no server is involved -- it's just using the local files in your project to simulate what you would see. If I am correct, then this has nothing to do with Apache, and is probably related to your Dreamweaver project configuration.

I apologise, F12 is a browser preview although it opens as localhost on my system.

The issue seems to arise when I use 'Manage Sites' in Dreamweaver, I can only have one site set on the testing server at one time. If I put another site in Dreamweaver and set it to use the testing server it says there is a conflict and files might not work properly :(

Testing server:
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\

I have the root folder of the main site set as http:\\localhost\ and I'm wondering if that's where the issue lies although if the folder is set else where I don't know if the php will still work :s

Fixed it, I had the document root folder and the test server in the same location, stupid boy Pike!
