Hello All,

I have site like http://www.sitename.com.

these redirect to http://www.sitename.com/index.html
with both url like http://www.sitename.com and http://sitename.com
(I have checked it with redirect-check tool)

I found two files in my website folder and in 1 file the code is "Options +Indexes"
and
in 2nd file the code is "AuthType BasicAuthName "User Backups"AuthUserFile /home/content/a/m/i/html/stats/.statspwdrequire valid-userOptions +Indexes"

now my qus is how can i find the actual redirect code.

and which code should i use to redirect me to http://www.sitename.com my site

please reply me

If you see no Redirect, RedirectMatch, or RewriteRule directives in these .htaccess files referring to the "www.sitename.com" subdomain, then it is likely that this redirect is configured in your "Control Panel."

So I would recommend looking at your control panel for this setting.

Your host should be able to supply the details.

There's a web page you will visit and you'll need the user name and password your host gave you.
