Been looking all over for a solution to get rid of favicon.ico messages from my logs but I can't find the right syntax.
Anyone been able to do this?

Easiest way? Create a favicon ;) Seriously, if you don't want to make a real favicon you can upload a zero-byte file with the filename favicon.ico to the document root of your site, and the 404 not found errors will stop.
