I run a forum (Invision Board) and I want to convert all the extensions to .html. There is a lo-fi version that does this already, however, I would like the hi-fi version to be found in the search engines and be converted to .html. An example of what the Invision Board output is:

http://www.example.com/forum/index.php?showforum=33

I would like to convert this to something like:

http://www.example.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/f33.html (this is the output in the lofi version...I want this output for the hi-fi though!)

Is this easy to do with htaccess or too complicated? If it is easy, can someone just post a simple line of code that will do what I need. Thank you.

You could try the Website Technology forum -- We may not have many (or any) Invision users here.

The terms lo-fi and hi-fi that you used are unknown to me.

As stated in our Charter, we'll be happy to help you to get *your* code working, but there would be far too many requests if we allowed people to ask us to write their code for them. We are primarily here to *discuss* code and coding techniques, not to write code on demand.
