Hey guys,

We have a website where we can promote their affiliate link at a very good percentage and have started to promote it through your usual places.

Google base jumped out and i when i was trying to submit to it i couldn't use affiliate links.

I did some research and found this website explaining it but couldn't really relate it to my situation.
<snip> (we have root access)

or..

[webmasterworld.com...]

Our affiliate link as it stands is:
http://www.example.com/inde..._id=1&aff_id=1

Do you think Google base will be able to notice the aff_id=1?

How can i use the .htaccess file to change my url to the following or something samiliar?

http://www.example.com/Goog...&product_id=1&

I dunno.....

I hope you can help!

Well, considering that Google Base's ToS very strongly prohibit posting affiliate links, I would be willing to bet that they can easily spot anythign that even remotely looks like an affiliate link.

Exactly my point, so what can i do to hide it with .htaccess?

instead of "google" as the mask we could put the product group or something>?

My point is that you're asking people how to circumvent Google's ToS and try do something that you are explicitly prohibited from doing.

Those aren't the type of answers provided here.
