This is doing my head in for a while now. I cant figure out whats going wrong.
I've installed the latest Apache server, then PHP5 and the latest MySQL. Running Windows XP home. Server will be for local testing.
All appears to be working fine. Then installed phpmyadmin and when trying to access localhost/phpmyadmin, I get directory of files when viewing that, and when i click on any file.php, i get the following error
Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration.
I've looked on Google for any solutions but none have solved my problem. Checked all th php.ini and httpd.conf files, restarted apache several times, but still no difference.
It seems ive gone through every possible solution thats out there but nothing seems to work.
Short of getting rid of phpmyadmin and re-installing, im stumped for ideas. Speaking of which, how do you uninstall phpmyadmin?
