In the Windows world, I use Logparser to give some detailed info on a handful of logs, maybe 2 days or a week or something. I don't use it as full blown visitor analysis.
Is there a simple CLI utility like that to analyze Apache logs?
I just want to look at one or two fields in the logs.

excel or another spreadsheet should be suitable to analyze logs if you just need to view and sort columns
