I know that 302 redirection is not search engine friendly. But my question here is, I have a website in which 302 found redirection implemented. This site is treated differently by Google, Yahoo and Live. Google cache for the website shows the original URL(Permanent URL), but Yahoo and Live shows the temporary URL in cache. Why Google alone shows the cache of the permanent URL? Do anyone know how '302 Found' redirection treated by the major search engines. I know it is used for page hijacking techniques, Is there any rules from Google, Yahoo or Live saying not to use that type of redirection.
Thanks in advance.
